Message from the Pioneer Total Abstinence Association of the Sacred Heart.

 

Every year within the Archdiocese of Armagh, we hold a special event in honour of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Patron of the Pioneer Total Abstinence Association. This year despite COVID-19, we are continuing by broadcasting services online and on TV.


On Thursday, 18th June

The Parish of Tynan and Middletown will be holding their twenty four hour vigil in St John’s Church, Middletown beginning that evening with Mass at 7.30pm. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament begins after Mass right through to Mass at 7.30pm on Friday, 19th June 2020.


At Midnight on Thursday into Friday morning, Most Rev Michael Router, Auxiliary Bishop of Armagh, will celebrate Mass from St John’s, Middletown. The media link for this Church is MCN Media and everyone is asked to join from their own home. The webcam can be viewed at:

  

 
On Friday, 19th June
 
To celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart, Mass will be celebrated at 10.30am from St Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny, Co Donegal by Most Reverend Alan McGuckian, SJ, Bishop of the Diocese of Raphoe. It is available on the following TV channels:
